Training, Instruction and Education

My academic journey began with a focus on tourism and economics, combined with the study of several foreign languages: English, French, and (now mostly forgotten) German.
It was quite different from the path I would later take.

Later, I felt drawn toward the natural world and pursued studies in geology — but it still wasn’t what I was truly looking for.

It wasn’t until I immersed myself in the world of dogs that I began to feel a deep sense of connection — with them, with myself, and with life as a whole. That’s when I decided to follow this path, even though it’s not the most common or conventional one.

Along the way, I pursued various certifications and courses to deepen both my practical skills and my understanding of dogs and their relationship with us:

  • Dog Trainer and Animal Care Certificate from Centro Europeo di Formazione, affiliated with ENCI — with a focus on basic animal behaviour, training principles, and canine anatomy.
  • Dog Educator Certificate from ThinkDog School, Italy.
  • Masterclass Interconnected Mind (Menti Interconnesse) — focused on co-regulation, mindfulness, and the transformative power of compassion.
  • Masterclass in Canine Aggression.
  • Additional webinars and courses to deepen my understanding of dog behaviour and the human–dog relationship.
