These furry souls have had different life experiences. The eldest had some experiences mostly during his first year of life, but after that, opportunities became more limited. He was already a fully grown adult when he mated, and the family lovingly chose to keep one of the puppies.
The younger one had fewer chances to explore the world, and this inevitably shaped his development and behaviour and the way he relates to new situations. This has contributed to a more sensitive and cautious personality, making him more prone to misunderstandings.
This breed is known for being deeply loyal to their family, but that doesn’t mean they will grow up balanced and confident without intentional effort on our part.
Guiding the family through an understanding of their dog’s needs — such as proper socialisation and meaningful experiences — is essential to support the development of a well-adjusted adult dog.
A sense of safety, security, and trust forms the foundation of any relationship. When the dog begins to feel all of this, you’ll witness not only a stronger bond, but also a transformation: a new dog begins to blossom.
