Akita Inu

Case Description

These furry souls have had their share of challenges. The eldest had some experiences during his first year of life, but after that, opportunities became fewer and fewer. He was already a fully grown adult when he mated, and the family decided to keep one of his puppies.

The young one had few chances to explore the world, and this lack of exposure inevitably shaped his development and behaviour. It led to an insecure personality, making him more vulnerable to misunderstandings.

How We Supported

This breed is known for being deeply loyal to their family, but that doesn’t mean they will grow up balanced and confident without intentional effort on our part.

Guiding the family through an understanding of their dog’s needs — such as proper socialisation and meaningful experiences — is essential to support the development of a well-adjusted adult dog.

A sense of safety, security, and trust forms the foundation of any relationship. When the dog begins to feel all of this, you’ll witness not only a stronger bond, but also a transformation: a new dog begins to blossom.
